Q. When do you find your work rewarding?

I find it rewarding to experiment with different approaches while thinking about how to improve the outcome, gradually refining it into something I'm satisfied with. Throughout the process, I try to balance both the big picture and the finer details. I also spend a lot of time researching—digging into briefing materials and reference designs until I fully understand them. It suits my personality well, as I tend to thoroughly compare and consider things in daily life too, like planning trips or shopping. Some particularly memorable projects include a recruitment website for a consulting company in Sapporo and a full website renewal for a real estate company, also in Sapporo. Both projects were challenging—especially translating visual concepts across an entire site and managing overall progress—but they remain very meaningful experiences.

Q. What would you like to challenge yourself with in the future?

Turning versatility into a strength.

I don't feel strongly tied to any particular genre or visual style. I used to wonder if that was a weakness, but now I see it as a strength—to approach every project with care and do each one properly. Being part of the CR department has allowed me to work across a wide range of projects, which I'm grateful for. I feel fortunate to work in an environment with people I respect. I've also started supporting junior team members, and thinking together about how to communicate ideas and create work has become a new challenge for me. While still learning through trial and error, I hope we can continue to grow together.
