Q. When do you find your work rewarding?

When we create something entirely new from scratch.

The most memorable project for me was an AI-generated video for a travel agency during my first year. It was a completely new type of project, even within the company. One of the biggest challenges with AI video generation is maintaining consistency in a character's appearance across scenes, as faces and atmospheres often change. To solve this, we developed our own method combining Photoshop and AI tools. At times, we weren't even sure how long it would take, and we kept generating content thinking, 'Will this ever end?' (laughs). Another memorable project was the renewal of a cosmetics brand website. It had a large number of products and a complex CMS structure, and I was responsible for much of the overall direction in my first year. Working closely with developers to confirm feasibility taught me a great deal.

Q. What do you value most in your work?

Work hard today to make tomorrow easier.

A phrase from my manager that stuck with me is, 'If you work hard today, your future self will have an easier time.' I think this mindset applies to things like automating tasks with AI or exploring new tools. When something feels tedious, I try to find ways to eliminate that inefficiency. I value taking the time to think carefully and invest effort now. I haven't yet had the opportunity to direct a corporate website, so that's something I'd like to take on in the future. I've also recently learned that AI can be used for app development, which has sparked my interest. Whenever something seems interesting, I want to dive in and explore it.
