A Sugoroku Campaign to Brighten the Year-End and New Year – Play and Expand the Fun

During this special period when many users gather, we received the client’s wishes: “we want to increase opportunities for users to engage with the works” and “we want them to visit the app repeatedly.” In response, we proposed a web-based sugoroku-style game. Rather than simply serving as a promotional tool, the content was designed to make the user experience itself enjoyable, naturally encouraging revisits and sharing. When players land on a square, a prompt related to BL works appears, and by sharing it on social media, users can connect and resonate with other fans. This encourages active participation, creating a ripple effect that boosts the engagement and excitement of the entire community.

Playful and Colorful Creatives Tailored to the Target Audience

On the design side, we created a playful, colorful world tailored to the target audience. By incorporating motifs associated with romance—such as hearts, love letters, and speech bubbles—along with manga-style embellishments, we achieved a lighthearted and approachable expression. Because no specific work is featured, we intentionally left space for a wide range of users to project their favorite titles onto the experience.
