Conveying the Realities of Medicine to Students: A Trust-Building Website Renewal

Corporate Website Renewal Focused on Building Trust

The client is Takeyama Co., Ltd., a company engaged in wholesale distribution of medical devices. They approached us to create a new recruitment website and to renew their corporate site, motivated by a desire to strengthen their new graduate hiring efforts. The long-used corporate site had not been updated with the latest information, suffered from usability issues, and struggled to fully convey the company’s business activities. In response, we streamlined the content to include only essential information and implemented a simple, easy-to-understand design. The design emphasizes the qualities essential to the medical industry: trustworthiness, integrity, and cleanliness. Additionally, the company’s mission of “delivering products to medical sites” is expressed through curved motifs that flow across the pages. Alongside the corporate site renewal, the company’s brochure was also redesigned, creating a consistent and unified brand image.

Recruitment Website That Clears Up Misconceptions and Conveys the Realities to Students

For the creation of the recruitment website, we first conducted interviews with the HR team to deeply explore the challenges in their hiring process. One key insight that emerged was that many students held misconceptions such as, “You can’t work here without medical expertise” or “There are emergency duties day and night.” To bridge the gap between these perceptions and the reality of the workplace, the recruitment site was structured to deliver authentic voices through employee interviews. Additionally, to clearly convey what kind of company Takeyama Co., Ltd. is, we explored its corporate philosophy and crafted recruitment messaging and statements. The key visual features an employee looking straight ahead, symbolizing the copy: “Beyond ‘Delivering,’ straight ahead.” After the site’s launch, many students who attended seminars had already visited the site beforehand. The HR team reported with delight that students’ understanding of the company had increased significantly.
