A Gourmet Guide to Enjoy on Game Days and Off Days
Production of a Gourmet Guide Distributed at ES CON
This project involves producing ES CON’s gourmet guide, published twice a year, at the request of an advertising agency. Since this guide is distributed to visitors during game days, it is an important medium that reaches a wide audience. The cover design must each year incorporate the Fighters’ annual team slogan, and a completely fresh design—different from the previous edition—is required. Therefore, instead of extending past designs, it is necessary to start from scratch and build ideas from the ground up each time.
Organize Information into an Easy-to-Understand Layout That Encourages Visits Even on Non-Game Days
The inner pages are created based on the page plan, organizing content so that readers can easily navigate to each restaurant without getting lost. The focus is on making the layout clear and easy to understand while enhancing the dining experience at ES CON. It requires the ability to interpret the client’s intentions and translate them into design and layout, balancing a layout that communicates effectively with a design that feels approachable. As a result, the work has received high praise from the client and has led to repeat commissions.
