
Announcing a New Campus and Faculties Through Student-Focused Creative

A Unified Visual Identity for the New Campus and Faculties
For the launch of Hokkaido University of Science’s new campus and faculties, we handled everything from the planning and production of the key visual to a full range of promotional materials. From the outset, the university sought a visual approach that would strongly resonate with high school students. Multiple design concepts were developed and evaluated through surveys conducted at affiliated high schools, allowing the creative direction to be shaped through extensive audience research. As the two faculties and their departments would share the same new campus, the creative was designed to express the unique character of each while maintaining a strong sense of cohesion across the overall visual identity. The looks worn by the models symbolize the knowledge and skills students will acquire through their studies, representing students taking their first steps from the new campus into society.



Extending a Unified Creative Across Multiple Media
The visual world established through the key creative was expanded across OOH advertising, posters, and the website, delivering a consistent visual communication strategy for the new campus and faculties. By maintaining a unified creative expression while adapting to the characteristics of each medium, the campaign created a strong impression among prospective high school students and helped build anticipation for the new campus and academic programs.
