Expressing the Joy of Physical Activity Through Design

The Hokkaido Daiundokai is a large-scale sports event held annually at the Sapporo Dome. We were in charge of the event’s website and advertising design. The design concept was: “Smiles naturally appear when you move your body.” To ensure that the joy of sports reached general participants directly, the site was built with bright and approachable visuals, aiming to evoke the excitement of physical activity and the fun that naturally brings smiles. Additionally, animations were incorporated to add movement and energy to the pages. Through dynamic visual effects, the appeal of sports is enhanced, and the enjoyment of participating is conveyed visually. By layering motion elements over static images, users can feel the energy of the sports even through the screen, increasing anticipation and excitement for the event.
